Asbestos Consultants to the Environment Limited (ACE) is one of the UK's leading environmental consultants, providing specialist advice and service for all asbestos-related problems to both the public and private sectors throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
Our clientele can expect independent and professional advice and fast 24-hour cover from qualified and experienced technical staff and consultants. ACE is fully equipped to tackle projects large and small, from both our Head Office in Essex and our regional office in Bristol, as well as from our extensive fleet of fully-equipped mobile laboratory units.

  We have a large portfolio of clients both in the public and the private sectors with a strong international network of associates. Founded in 1984, the company is one of the few remaining privately-owned firms providing a diverse range of consulting services including building surveys, sampling, testing, analysis, air monitoring, asbestos removal project management and asbestos technical, management and awareness training.  
     
  Vast Experience in the Asbestos Industry  
  Having served the asbestos industry for over 20 years, ACE is now enjoying the benefits of an extensive business process re-design, which began in 1996. At that time, the company set out clear objectives to improve its quality, consistency of service and speed of response. All of these have since been achieved through the combination of powerful technology tools developed by PSI and adopting best management practices and procedures.

Our record of success in the asbestos consulting field, coupled with a market need as expressed by many of our existing clients, has led us to further expand our range of consulting services into the wider fields of occupational hygiene and industrial ergonomics.
 
     
  Fostering relationships with our clients  
  At ACE we believe in fostering a relationship with our clients based on partnership, honesty and trust, whilst at all times maintaining our professional integrity and hard-earned reputation. We do not make promises we know we cannot keep and we do not cut corners to save time or money. However, we will never be perfect. If we do foresee a problem developing with regards to project delivery, possibly picked up by our Quality Management system, our client will be the first to know and everything possible will be done to minimise any possible delay.  
     
  Quality Management  
 
The quality of our work is of prime importance to us, as ongoing compliance with the requirements of our accreditation to ISO 17020 (for asbestos surveying/inspection work) and ISO 17025 (for fibre sampling/counting and bulk sampling/analysis) ensures that we deliver the best possible service to our clients at all times. At ACE, we do not regard quality as an “add-on” but integrate it deep into everything we do.
 
Regular and rigorous internal compliance and performance audits extend into all areas of our business, not only those for which we hold UKAS accreditation.
